help!

question for anyone, but specifically [livejournal.com profile] gnimmel and [livejournal.com profile] purplepiano:

i need to get from Bedford to Bromham, 4 miles north of Bedford (specifically the lovely scout campsite), with me, [livejournal.com profile] niceandfluffy, her husband and [livejournal.com profile] olinima and a big pile of tents and LARP kit.

we're going to an event from July 23-25th.

would any good taxi company take us? would they have a vehicle with enough room for tents and stuff?

is there any other way to get there?

Take a taxi to Trowbridge instead. It'll be far more exciting!!

There are usually lots of taxis at the station and I'm sure I've seen some minibus-style ones with lots of space there too. We've not used the taxis in Bedford, though. I can have a look in the local phone book when I get home and post some numbers.

Bromham is really quite near, but that's not much use when you have luggage.
