so, i tidied up my friendslist quite radically.

if i removed you, don't think i don't like you. i probably do. just i wanted to tidy up because i plan to spend less time reading journal stuff.

there may be further snippage. i am not sure yet.

yesterday Nick and i watched LOTR. yes, all three extended films. it was fantastic.

DUDE.

All three, like. A marathon or whatever? That's so awesome. *^_^* Took like, 10 hours or something, didn't it? :P And did you watch them straight through, or take little breaks? I seem fascinated by this, so I probably sound dorky, but it's a goal of mine to do so at one point. So I'm just congratulating you. :P <3

apparently running time was 11h25m.

we watched each film though (with toilet breaks at disc changes) and had lunch between fotr and ttt and tea between ttt and rotk. but those breaks were only about 30 mins or so.

it was very cool. you should do it!

Any chance I could get back on? I do not clog up your friends pages much at all and I would quite like to read your friends-only entries.

Or you could create a different default view with only a subset of your friends. I am sure [livejournal.com profile] ixwin can show you how.

Grr, envy! Chris won't even watch RotK with me, much less try a marathon. I so want a marathon. Woe!

But if you want to spend less time reading journal stuff, wouldn't it be better to just make filters? That way you can control how much time you spend reading/what other people are able to read without hurting anyone's feelings by dropping them.

possibly. i don't know. i am not very rational about these things. i have a load of filters already and just forget to use them for reading. i use them when i write entries.

meh. at the moment i have plenty of time to read as work is a bit lacking. but it is due to get incredible horrendously busy very soon. :(
