olinima and i managed to haul all our stuff to niceandfluffy and Bob's house and ate pizza to recover. although the trip was not without incident as i frightened a lady on the train when ranting at Mandapanda (who was beating me at cards). then we shopped for Maelstrom provisions and while i dyed my hair Jo and Mandy asked me LOTR Trivial Pursuit questions.friday
we got a taxi to Bromham which has a GPS/DVD player thing that was playing Dirty Harry with interesting 'now turn left' bits inserted. the site was better than expected due to some excellent wooded parts and a very funky tree that i liked a lot.
we put tents up and said hello to people and i went into the woods in search of wood with
samharber. we found wood. *smirks*i purplified myself and the nice man at Kangena stuck my feathered brow on. then i was the butt of jokes about ribenaberries and angry moths. grrr. most of the evening was spent wandering, drinking beer, sitting by the fire, laughing at Gilly, making money out of snogging Lambert and trying to take pictures of the wasps.
ooh - and i dropped my mooncup in the toilet - that was clever wasn't it!!!
then i had a very nice night. *hums*
saturday
i am a very lazy roleplayer. but that's ok. i had fun. i sorted out some problems at GOD and attended neither the masked ball or the hootenanny. although i did enjoy the bear hunt (which made Scott faint - ahahahaha), admiring the lionish Tritoni chick, admiring
ephrael's breasts, fetching wood with maddam, talking to the rednecks (yay, Lisa was there) and listening to Mark reading the Erotic Almanac. myki amused me no end.that night was also very pleasing.
sunday
i managed to have an extended lie in type affair and still have time to take my tent down and pack. splendid. said goodbye to everyone i could find, which involved much kissing. i am a big fan of the kissing.
slept through most of the journey back then ate an ENORMOUS meal at the stupidly named Ham & Blackbird beefeater pub and had a shower before the long train journeys home. we saw a boy playing footbag on Reading station. so when we got home i made
drainpipe show Manda the footbag section of her silly NES game which is called something like California Games. the footbag man is the gayest ever, he wears purple shorts and minces about and jumps likes he's in Riverdance. i beat Manda's ass at shithead, poker of various types and a game we don't remember the name of.i was irate as our departure from Farnborough coincided with the end of the airshow, which had already annoyed me by having loud planes flying over every two minutes. however one of the crowd control chicks made me laugh by blatantly using her loud hailing device to tell jokes and take the piss out of the general situation. (which was much crowd control, barriers, ploice and annoyance.)
i'm greatly looking forward to the September event. where i must sell a lot of things. and have a mini birthday party.
