here is my first attempt at casting. (most of it copied from very cunning suggestions by Liz.)

if anyone wants to change any part please let me know!
also if anyone finds they're speaking to themselves at any point please also let me know. i'm not feeling 100% in the brain department at present so might have missed something.

    does anyone have any coconuts?

there are some scenes i want to cut out but i'll let everyone know nearer the time or maybe on the day. (mainly scenes with animation or some singing - the Launcelot/guests scene is pretty messy.)

ELLY - you are obviously happy to sing the Brave Sir Robin song.
EVERYONE ELSE - would you like to sing the Camelot song?

a reminder of the most helpful website:

meh. tired. Elly & Liz - if you have time can you look over everything and point out other things i should be thinking about? thank you!

Was going to raise these points via e-mail (& probably will anyway for those who check that more often than lj) but I'll put them here while I remember

    - Probably need to let people know before the day what's going to be cut. I agree we can ignore the animations entirely (well except for the purple beastie...Hmmm - maybe Eliott can play that role...?)

    - If we do have the Camelot song would [livejournal.com profile] purplepiano (or anyone else who offers) be willing to accompany it? - we have a piano

    - Could people print off their own copies of the scripts if at all possible - I'll be able to do a few if necessary but our printer wouldn't thank me for 11 copies.

    - Coconuts! I'll try to get one set but yes if anyone else can, please bring.

    - I think I'll get a couple of cheapo plastic swords too, so that we can (briefly) act out various scenes (esp. the black & green knight)

On another topic, there's a Christmas tree festival at the church in the next road that weekend that we usually go to (just lots of decorated trees by e.g. Brownies, and local charities and shops and individuals) and so I was wondering if the party would be interested in wandering down to see that in between the end of the readthrough and the meal.

I thought if we try to kick off the readthrough around 3pm, and then plan to start eating around 6 or 6:30? Will that suit everyone? Is anyone in need of additional directions/transport help of any sort?

That's all I can think of for now.

i will try to email people tomorrow. unless you'd like me to send the spreadsheet to you? my hotmail is being all weird and that's where i have the group listed. *pouts*

    i'd love to see trees!

    *flops*

Could I have a lift from [livejournal.com profile] purplepiano/[livejournal.com profile] gnimmel please? (Assuming you two plan to set off from Bedford)

Alas, we are purely train-travelling beings (neither of us drive) :/

    D*mn! (And neither do I :/)

Bedford- Hitchin busses. (Suggestion: 181 at 1:30 getting to Hitchin at 2:30). According to the railtrack website, you can't reach Hitchin from less than Bedford in fewer than two changes, and the shortest trip takes an hour and a half.

Now, I don't have a clue what to do from the bus station...

    multimap to the rescue.

You'll most likely come in on Bancroft or Hermitage Road - if you do get lost, ring, or ask for directions to the station as, unless you're very lost that'll take you past the end of our road (one end or the other).

I'm happy to play piano for that or anything else. Do you want the theme music as well?

    [identity profile] ixwin.livejournal.com 2003-12-02 09:16 am (UTC)(link)
Brilliant! Thanks! Elly has the music.

Not sure about anything else - will let you know.
