OOOOOH! small world is good. i need to visit cambridge. i think over 50% of people on my friends list have been there are some point or another...

Um. Cambridge is tangly and confusing and a bit volatile and not very comfortable. IMHO.

There's interesting in a smily happy ooh-bounce sort of way, and then there's interesting in a tearful confused anxious unhappy sort of way, and Cambrisge IME degenerates all too rapidly from the one into the other.

This is not a condemnation of the *people* as individuals - most of them are lovely - just the social scene as a whole. Which is why I don't do it any more.
