highlights of my week

i may backdate stuff, if i can be arsed.

i was kind of lonely sometimes, but all in all, a week without my journal is not too distressing.

main points:

  • Justine invited me to visit (YAY!) - am completely crazy with excitement about this

  • the new Kristy Thirsk cd is lovely

  • [livejournal.com profile] koozwaa came to visit and we made aloo gobi from the recipe on Bend It Like Beckham (mmm Keira K and Parminder N - i drool), except we didn't put any gobi in, we used chickpeas and carrots instead

  • my hotmail inbox is amusing me ridiculously, since it has a message from someone Mills right on top of one from someone Wills and the M and W make a cool pattern. see how easy i am to amuse!

  • [livejournal.com profile] ixwin is a dude

  • i miss Elly!

  • i have knitted approx 1.05 mittens in a snazzerific purple/pink multicoloured wool. i feel most proud

  • this weekend is going to so rule (more info later)

  • it was [livejournal.com profile] kookie21's birthday. she is fabulous. i love her lots.

    I am intrigued to know what 0.05 of a mitten looks like.

    Or did you knit 0.7 of one and 0.35 of another?

    no, i have one complete one and a partial part of the second. i estimate 5% of it. i may be wrong. and i'm not sure if i'm talking about knitting area or knitting time either.
