the puzzle piece behind the couch

ah. it is my ambition, when i am older, to run a little tea room. this would combine the pleasure i get from baking and serving people. i've only ever bveen a waitress once - when Jo's mother in law had a cream tea afternoon for the church. it was very informal, but so so so much fun - taking orders, making up the orders, delivering them and taking money. remembering who had ordered what. carrying trays of hot drinks and strawberries. it was so much fun.

in MY tea room i would:

make sure that the tea pots don't dribble tea down their spouts

have nice cloth napkins

have fresh flowers on all the tables

make sure people are served quickly and by cheerful people

oh. i can't wait to be in the WI and spend my days making cakes and knitting. i'm so geeky.

i love the way Tori sings the backing line of Fairytale that goes "for me to take your word i had to steal it". especially the way she sings steal with about four different notes. mmmm tis yummy. mucho yummy. i adore that song.
