wooooooooooo! tonight i did excellent things. i cycled back to Laura's along the canal and waited while she changed clothes. then we cycled to Julie's where i ironed 9 shirts (wah, not enough time for more), ate yummy bean chili and was taken out on the back of her husband's Harley.

i love riding on the back of motorbikes. and this one was supercomfortable. we even had an in-helmet intercom thing. Chris took me out and we sped round town and along some back roads and it was ace. i probably still preferred going on the back of Gavin's motorbike round the tiny lanes of Itako, and up on the big Japanese highways, but that probably has more to do with the fact i got to grip him round the waist for an extended period of time. the Harley was so comfy i didn't even need to hold onto anything!

then i cycled home, cunningly avoiding the big downpour of rain, to find we have 90% of a new driveway. yay!
