last night i was quite productive and sorted LOTS of stuff out in my bedroom. this was due to my patented 'tidying tape'. it has Teenage Fanclub - Thirteen on one side and Curve - Doppelganger on the other. i have used it for many years when i need to tidy, so now it is ingrained in me to tidy things when i listen to it. it also has some Evening Session from 1994 on! ahhh, 10 years ago. when i was a little schoolgirl and had better taste in music than i do now. i bet i was more indie than

ghostbritain even.

anyway, Mum and Dad have agreed to begone from the house for my birthday. it is likely to have the following format:

Saturday 25th September

afternoon: cookie baking and general silliness including playing games - for a smaller number of people who like this kind of thing and will play nicely - definitely includes

evening: big party with lots of people, possibly with some kind of theme but maybe not. will definitely include the Tam&Kathryn Style Cocktail PassTheParcel. is highly likely to include silly party games. like taboo. that rocks my socks. and twister.

Mum and Dad haven't yet decided if they're going away for friday as well as saturday. if they are more people can stay friday if they like. Metcalfes would be especially welcome. there is lots of space for people to stay on saturday. if anyone wants to do anything on the sunday that would be very possible too, depending on weather etc.
