dreams and ROTK

last night i dreamt about going to Maelstrom. there was a lot of running. niceandfluffy was there. and then there were lots of people waiting OOC outside Matt P's little office place. apparently waiting for some community to appear who had something to do with all those arabian looking salamanders at Omega. i met Lisa and sat on her lap and cuddled her. [eee it's her bday soon. must send card.]

why didn't i have ROTK dreams?


i felt a LOT of the book was missing. but this didn't bother me too much. no houses of healing though, no Ghan, no shire scouring, no Saruman & Grima... and conversely, TOO MANY CLOTHES on Frodo in Cirith Ungol (yes i'm pervy), but lack of singing and not enough Shagrat and Gorbag. (or maybe i just like andrewwyld's Shagrat too much.

thoughts:

why did they build a big gap on that bit of Minas Tirith that Denethor runs off? surely that is dangerous!

why did the Rohan dudes meet all the way up the mountain? what was wrong with meeting at the bottom?

which poor people had to live on top of snowy mountains waiting to light the beacons?

i cried rather a lot, but the scene i cried at most was Éowyn and Theoden. she was totally wonderful.

i was most lusty at the bit in the tent when Aragorn has just woken up and comes to meet Elrond and wind blows and you see Aragorn's legs and FWOOOORGH he looked SO HOT.

seeing it again next tuesday. rar.

oooh and i have a costume idea!

I will have to make up my mind if I am going first, I do already have two LRPs to go to in the first half of next year. I will chat up a ref type to see if it will be the type I like
