so yes, Kill Bill was fabulous. Mandapanda kept hiding from the gory bits, wuss that she is. but i loved it. and Mr Tarantino obviously had a good advisor about Japan because there were some bits that would only be funny if you knew some things about Japan or had been there.
PLUS the wife of the ryokan owner (i presume) was wearing a suit exactly EXACTLY like that worn by Haruka's mum - who yes, owns a ryokan. DUDE! i was excited. plus Lucy Liu is a fox.
came home and did a huge load of ironing for Laura. and am now back in Bridgwater. but i had a really nice lunchbreak. i went to see Bernie the printing guy, who i have only spoken to on the phone before. he's really nice. then i went for lunch at Tea & Buns (the cafe run by service users from the day centre). i had the strongest strawberry milk ever and a nice jacket potato.
for some odd reason it felt strangely comforting to be eating my lunch surrounded by random people moaning and throwing crockery. perhaps i should go back to working in LD.
i am worried about my Elly's veins! they sound like they're going a bit funny. *frets* poor Ellypoppet.
