the puzzle piece behind the couch

ok, so the LARP we (my LARP friends) are going to because Omega has finished is called Maelstrom. i can't decide what race to go as. my character is going to be a dubiously rich lady, possibly indebted to Bob's character, who may control a gem mine. but oh... which race? at Omega i was a kitty. it was superfun but makeup intensive. (although smearing your face over other people is a fun way of removing your makeup.)

Bob is going to play an Alkonian, so will be avian. but i quite fancy another kitty or possibly a human for ease of makeup. i don't have to be Alkonian to be associated with Bob's character.

OUCH!

my street has no lights. this evening when i was walking to Jo's to watch Angel i had a bit of an accident. a woman was walking the other way, carrying a torch and i was thinking 'oh, it is rather dark round here, but i'm always ok'.

then i was thinking 'wow it's cold but the stars look really pretty tonight'.

then i tripped over the curb and went flying and landed on my right knee and both my hands. i have a huge graze and swollen lump on my knee and two grazed hands. ow ow.

Jo gave me Maltesers and cake and a cup of tea to make me better. and we watched two episodes of Angel but are still behind.


and the monitor is still in japanese so am using old one (and have finally been able to reconnect to the net - obviously). but tomorrow monitor is going up to manchester so hopefully Dad can get a new one soon. i need to make CDs for emomisy and mslazarus.
