the puzzle piece behind the couch

yes, it's 3.45am and i am up. oh why oh why is this? ladies and gentlemen, it is all due to Mr Shiny's traditional nature.

we had a very pleasant evening of drinking (in which i almost matched him pint for pint but he's a boy and i'd had no dinner so he drank one more pint than me...) and then went back to his to watch RHPS.

i think i slept through some of it, but we were snuggled up on the sofa he also unfolds into his bed, under his duvet... then when it finished he sent me home! waaaah! ok, so he actually said "are you ok to get home?", which i was. i walked. he tried to come with me but i told him that'd be dumb. but i mean, i was practically in his bed! surely it would not have been difficult to ask me to stay?

but no. i was reeeeeeeejected. i don't really mind, cos now i'm eating the fishy crackers from the partymix and i might have some christmas cake too. i guess i am used to boys behaving in a lusty man way rather than a polite shy gentlemanly way.

anyway, nothing matters cos i have this Viggo icon and you don't! unless you now take it or are cim.

ahhhh this morning i was lying in bed, slightly hungover, listening to Nelly Furtado - Folklore and watching the sun shining on my Rainbow Fish mobile. it was very lovely. but i've not listened to the whole album yet cos i really love 'Try' which is song 4 and i've not managed to play past it. soon though.

we just got a new tv. Dad is swearing at it and trying to plug the dvd, video and sky thing back in.

Jan is coming over soon to play games and we'll have chinese. mmmm.

on Boxing Day Pete, Sal, Molly and Bonnie came over. it was very funny. Molly loved her weird slimy crocodile we gave her, and her dinosaur puzzle. and we gave Bonnie a Kipper book. they're so cute.

we had a funky day, played games, ate a lot, watched The Three Amigos (so cheesy) and Amélie, which i adore. food was yummy. i was a happy happy girl.
