lunch was very nice. Mr Shiny is quite shy, bless.
he got me a present! it's superb. it's a bosun's whistle all shiny and brassy. now Ellie can wear her Captain Jack jacket and i can be her bosun and whistle at people and stuff. hoorah! it has instructions for types of whistle. you can do things like 'stop everything' and 'carry on' and 'away galley' (not sure what that's about) and my particulate favourite - 'call bosun's mates'. but he wouldn't let me try it out in the pub. hah, but i will blow it when we get to Manda's later.
now i want to go play pirates with Ellie. i don't want to work!!
