my heroines
i find it strange, yet am really quite pleased, that no one else at all in the livejournal community has my two best heroines listed as an interest. i mean, to me, they're the two greatest women around at the moment. but hmmmm....
and for anyone who can't pick them out of my list it's Charlotte Uhlenbroek - amazing animal biologist extraordinaire (who is also darn cute) and Tanni Grey-Thompson - who is only the world's greatest ever wheelchair athlete. she deserves more recognition. and the fact she's incredibly cute and funny as well as having won a gazillion olympic gold medals should mean people have at least heard of her. if i had a scanner i'd so scan in the pics of me meeting her when she signed her autobiography for me.
