Needs to be a character who used to "live [his/her] life in shadow", before meeting whoever. In the sense Tara means it: Faramir (to Eowyn, or someone slashier)? Sam? Eowyn (to Aragorn or Faramir)?

Or in a more literal meaning of shadow? Hmmmm...

I'm not sure if I'll post today as am very tired! But Nick is okay - but okay after a strained muscle in his ribs (from coughing) and two more occurences of the choking-on-waking phenomena - both far less long and scary, but it's still rather worrying, and very, very unpleasant for him.

I think he's just terribly full of catarrh. I'm going to have to put my foot down about him not consuming enough vitamins, I think. Bad enough that he's still going to work, when (although in himself he claims to feel okay) he's blatantly not well...
